About Us
We are a congregation of God’s people, formed in the Anglican Tradition, a member of the Anglican Church in North America, and also a part of the Missionary Diocese of All Saints. We are located in Lexington, in the heart of Central Kentucky. St. Luke is comprised of God-fearing people who are called to serve God and His people from all walks of life. Our call is to love God first and foremost, and to love our neighbor as ourselves. We have been described by some as a “Three Streams” church, which means that we are Sacramental, Evangelical, and Spirit Filled. I believe that is a good way to sum up how we live our lives. We have a high view of the Sacraments, particularly Baptism and Holy Communion, we are Evangelical in the sense that we preach and teach the whole Word of God, and last, but not least, we believe God has called us to be filled with The Holy Spirit, so that we may serve Him in might and power to affect positively the lives of others. We also believe that our Lord Jesus Christ exhibited these same three attributes in His ministry!
